This project was undertaken by Carl Kouri, Megan Herkert, Tatiana Philiptchenko and Ingmar Zahorsky while studying in the Media, Peace and Conflict MA program at the UN mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.

We thank the UPEACE students from different departments that have contributed their messages, modeled for the photographs and have acted in the campaign video. We are pleased with the outcome of this project that we have produced despite the severe technical / media production limitations of the UPEACE campus.

We hope that in a small way this site will make a difference in raising awareness to improve the life of the women in Congo by inspiring people from all countries of the world to take action in whatever way they can.
